Who are we?

Our Mission

Empowering Students Through Education

Our aim at Tutors Stars is to provide tailored teaching to all students across the Uk, from all backgrounds and learning styles. We want to make learning accessible to all and teach in a number of ways, adapting our teaching styles to each child's individual needs, a service which unfortunately the mainstream system cannot offer as it is under supported. At Tutor Stars we want to help children progress and achieve their dreams helping them cope in mainstem environments or in their chosen form of compulsory education.

Not only do we want to provide a support network for these children but also provide support for you as the parent. We understand, as a company, that your child's education and development is a huge responsibility on yourself and is something you are left in the dark and just expected to know a whole deal about, which is difficult when the system is ever changing, and the world is developing at such a fast rate. Here at Tutor Stars we want to help parents undersand the changing education system and specifications to allow you to help your child to the best of your abilities.

Where We Started

Hello and my name is Amelia, and I am the founder and manager of Tutor Stars.  After working for several online tutoring and in person companies over the last 5 years I decided to branch out on my own and use my learned skills to help build a new learning environment which allows children from all education settings and learning abilities have the opportunity to peruse and succeed at what they want to achieve!

I personally believe the current education system has many flaws and children are getting frequently left behind if they cannot learn the way that is taught in the mainstream school curriculum. Tutor Stars aim is to cater to all learning types, tailoring each lesson to your child's individual needs, adapting as they learn to best aid their development. The growing understanding of disorders which come under the branch of Special Educational Needs makes it harder for the mainstream system to keep up with the expectations and is unfortunately letting students who fall under this category down, myself being one.

I have been diagnosed with ADHD, late in my life, and wasn’t supported by the education system even though they were aware I wasn't the same as some of the other children. Due to this I have invested my time into helping those children and allow them to achieve their dreams! These disorders really are a different way of thinking that really can be unlocked if supported in the right way in the most vital time of development and I want to make that recognised in the education system.
